In order to help us with our research & product development initiatives, PULSE is looking for its next Artificial Intelligence Intern!

📌 Location:

• Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands

• Office located in Zuidas, inside the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).

💼 Employment Type:

• Unpaid internship

• On-site (with possibility for Hybrid work)

• Minimum 6 months

• Possibility to start as soon as possible.

📚 Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Collaborate with the AI team to develop and refine machine learning models.

• Work with a wide range of AI methods, such as machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, (un)supervised learning, and more.

• Participate in the collection and preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.

• Evaluate the performance of AI systems and propose improvements.

• Contribute to research and the development of innovative AI features for our products.

📝 Hard Skills Required:

• Experience with machine learning frameworks.

• Strong programming skills in Python and a good grasp of algorithms and data structures.

• Familiarity with data science toolkits and methodologies.

• Understanding of statistical modeling and proficiency in using statistical computer languages.

🧑‍🎓 Educational Background:

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor's obtained in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Big Data Engineering, or a related field.

• A higher educational level will be prioritised (e.g., Master's degree), but we recommend all levels to apply.
